Rise and Fall

We have developed a completely new concept assisting with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) for the first time in the UK. The new Rise and Fall Induction Suite can be electrically raised or lowered between 650mm & 920mm, giving a variety of safe preparation and cooking heights.

The overall dimensions are 1800mm wide by 800mm deep and can be had with either two double induction hobs at either side or one double inset in at 425mm left or right depending on your requirements. These induction units are rated at 3.5KW each.

As you would expect from Charvet, this suite can be flexibly configured in many ways – wall, central island, stand alone or even mobile. Primarily designed for colleges, universities and training institutions, the variable height and potential mobility ensures more than one service application, not only for those with disabilities but also allowing it to be used for able bodied training as well. Chefs do not come in uniform heights after all! Other flexible applications could include chef theatre style demonstrations anywhere within your complex to large numbers, this could be for instance in your banquet suite or restaurant including front of house cooking or even outdoor catering. All you would need is suitable power requirements, an extract system, although desirable, is not an actual requirement!.
